BIOGRAPHY

Lunar Path plays epic metal with a hard hitting rock edge. The music expresses a broad range of emotions, from hard hitting rock-metal anthems such as “Broken World”, “Calling”, “Too Late To Say Goodbye”, to personal and emotionally strong portrayals as in “Now I Know”, “They Would Never Understand” and “Tell Me”. On stage, Lunar Path is an explosion of energy and attitude, surely not to leave anyone cold.

Lunar Path was formed in the fall of 2006 by two friends, Jonas Eriksson and Tuukka Nurmi-Aro. The band quickly grew with three additional members, Janica Lönn, Ari Järvinen and Klas Brunberg, all close friends.

During the year 2007, Lunar Path shot two music videos, “Tell Me” and “Destination Unknown”. “Tell Me” has aired several times on Yle’s Musiikki-Tv and on the Nordic video channel, The Voice.

In January 2008 the band parted ways with the original drummer Klas. This didn’t hold the band back, as they released their first self-released single, “Calling”. The single proved to be an important milestone in Lunar Paths developement and got rave reviews both from the press and the fans. Couple of months after the single was released, Lunar Path found a new drummer, Pete Romppanen and finally got back to performing live and working on new songs.

The year 2009 kicked off with a bang. The band worked hard during the winter, recording a new four track EP “Broken World”, the first release to feature the drummer Pete.

Lunar Path’s goal is to conquer the world with their music and only the sky is the limit.
